UCSF Multitudes: Associate Product Manager

2022-2023

The UCSF Dyslexia Center is developing a new digital tool, FREE for all California public schools, to aid in the early identification of Kindergarten and First Grade students who may face challenges learning to read. Early identification can lead to early intervention. As product manager, my role included conducting user interviews that informed product requirements and was responsible for gathering product requirements. Wrote user stories and acceptance criteria for our teachers, admins, and other educators. Led the launch of our new educator experience, which included a teacher class dashboard to run an assessment with a student. Conducted competitive and market research to understand how similar products have been leveraged and their shortcomings. Influenced the product roadmap. Responsible for triaging bug fixes and created and led QA teams. Developed new processes related to accepting feature requests, monthly team updates, and demo requests

San Francisco Health Plan: Marketing Web Designer

2016 - 2018, 2020-2022

As the marketing web designer at SFHP, I was responsible for the company’s three websites and Sharepoint web page designs. I helped maintain, design, and write HTML/CSS for the websites. I was part of the team researching and developing the company’s new SFHP website redesign. Also, I was in charge of Google Analytics and assisted with the company’s online marketing and SEO. Lastly, I won a Merit Award from the Healthcare Ad Awards for redesigning their SF City Option Website during my time there.

US New and World Report: Product Designer

2018-2020

As a product designer at US News and World Report, I was the lead product designer for two different teams, the Autos and Travel team. I worked with product managers, developers and other stake holders to develop improvements to the website, a long with doing user research, wire frames, sketches and mocks. I also helped the design team to continue to build the US News and World Report design system.

UX Design and Product Management Certifications

I have certifications in UX/UI design and I also have a certification in Product Management from General Assembly. These certifications have given me the skills necessary to build products that are user first.
